Aspirus Health tells WDIO that after careful thought and consideration, the company is consolidating operations for the Lake View Silver Bay and Lake View Two Harbors Clinics, eventually moving operations to Two Harbors. They say it’s a move to focus resources where they believe to have the greatest positive benefit to meet a community’s evolving needs. We’re told seven employees will be affected, but are maintaining their employment to work out of the Two Harbors clinic. The transition will be done in two phases. Starting July 13, primary care and lab & radiology services will be offered in Silver Bay on Wednesdays until the transition plan is completed. Appointments can be fulfilled from 8:00am to 4:30pm. The final day of patient care in Silver Bay is not yet determined.
