BTA :: Bulgaria and Vietnam Discuss Expanding Strategic Economic Partnership - EUROPE SAYS

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Alexander Poulev held a meeting with the Ambassador of Vietnam to Bulgaria, Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, in Sofia on Friday. The talks focused on the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries, Poulev’s ministry reported. Poulev stressed that Bulgaria will continue working to deepen economic and industrial cooperation with Vietnam and to create new opportunities for businesses in both countries. “We are pursuing an open-door policy and genuinely want to have an ambitious plan for expanding cooperation with Vietnam in all areas,” the Economy Minister said. The meeting addressed preparations for the 25th session of the Bulgarian-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, to be held this year, and the planning of an accompanying business forum. The sides also discussed opportunities for developing joint investment projects and partnerships between companies from the two countries, including the establishment of joint ventures in areas with high growth potential. The Economy Minister presented Bulgaria’s advantages as an investment destination and highlighted the country’s potential to serve as a production base, logistics hub and gateway to the European Single Market for Vietnamese companies. “Bulgaria is a crossroads not only for digital infrastructure, but also for transport and energy. Therefore we can be your preferred destination, your starting point and your gateway to the European market,” Poulev said. /PP/Tags:bulgariaБългарияновини
