Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba joined regional health officials and local leaders in Banna, Ilocos Norte, on July 18 for the formal inauguration of the new Bagong Urgent Care and Ambulatory Service (BUCAS) Center Building. The Ilocos Center for Health Development, led by Regional Director Dr. Helen B. Tobias, alongside representatives from the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMHMC) and the local government unit, participated in the event to mark the operational launch of the facility. The presence of the Politiko underscored the collaborative provincial effort to establish the center, which aims to provide immediate medical attention to the residents of Banna and its neighboring municipalities. The establishment of this new facility represents a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts of the Politiko to expand access to quality, patient-centered primary healthcare services closer to grassroots communities.
