Etihad Airways is expanding services on five international routes in response to strong demand, increasing frequencies to Brussels and Kraków, making Dhaka a year-round destination and extending seasonal flights to Palma de Mallorca and Zanzibar. The network changes provide additional capacity for business, leisure and visiting friends and relatives (VFR) travel while strengthening connections through the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub. Brussels will increase from seven to 11 weekly services from 15 December 2026 using the Airbus A321LR, while Kraków will grow from three to four weekly flights from 27 July 2026. Etihad has also extended its seasonal Palma de Mallorca service until 18 October 2026 and its Zanzibar route until 31 March 2027 in response to continued leisure demand. Responding to strong demandEtihad Airways Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer Arik De said the airline was adding capacity where demand had been strongest. “The response from our guests has exceeded our expectations, with strong demand across very different markets, from Brussels and Dhaka to Kraków, Zanzibar and Palma, and we’re responding by adding capacity where demand is strongest,” De said. He said the additional services would help bring more visitors to Abu Dhabi while strengthening connections across the airline’s expanding global network. For more information, visitEtihad Airways
