Adam Pak25th July 2026 – (Hong Kong) Veteran Hong Kong filmmaker and former Pegasus Entertainment Holdings chairman Raymond Wong has begun serving a five-month prison sentence after being convicted of insider trading linked to activities in 2017. Wong was earlier found guilty and ordered to pay a fine as well as investigation costs in addition to his custodial term. He subsequently applied to have his bail revoked and has now commenced his sentence immediately. Speaking at a promotional event on 21st July, actor Adam Pak Tin-nam, who is signed to Wong’s Mandarin Motion Pictures, addressed questions regarding his employer’s situation in an interview with local media outlet HK01. Pak said colleagues were concerned about Wong but declined to elaborate on specific details. He noted that many within the company missed their boss, though he said it was not appropriate to disclose further information. Pak stressed that the company’s daily operations and his own work schedule had not been disrupted by Wong’s imprisonment. He said projects and engagements were continuing as planned and that business remained on track. When asked whether Wong had given any special instructions prior to reporting to prison, Pak indicated that no particular directives had been issued and that the team was maintaining a steady and composed approach. Responding to questions about whether he would assist in delivering daily necessities to Wong while he is in custody, Pak said such arrangements were being handled entirely by Wong’s family.
