Firm launches AI-powered media marketplace to boost US-Africa trade transparency

A leading firm, CogniRep Strategies Holding Co. , has launched what it described as Nigeria’s first artificial intelligence-powered media marketplace, introducing three platforms aimed at strengthening transparency, institutional trust and cross-border commercial partnerships between the United States and Africa. The company said the initiative is anchored on the belief that trust, rather than capital alone, is the foundation of sustainable international commerce, with the new ecosystem designed to improve access to credible institutional intelligence and verified media engagement. According to the firm, the launch addresses long-standing challenges associated with opaque media environments and limited access to reliable information that have slowed commercial engagement between Africa and the United States. The newly unveiled platforms include AfriSense AI, a proprietary intelligence engine for real-time media monitoring and sentiment analysis across African markets; the Corporate Trust Index, which evaluates governance, institutional integrity and transparency compliance of organisations involved in cross-border business; and the Clean Media Marketplace, a verified platform connecting organisations with credible media outlets to improve transparency in strategic communications. As a way to honour media practitioners, we have reached out to selected media organisations in Nigeria to join the Clean Media Marketplace as Pilot Publishers,” he said. Abubakar added that the company’s AI technology goes beyond measuring media mentions by analysing the context of conversations surrounding brands. We built CogniRep to answer the only question that matters:Do people actually trust your brand, or are they just tolerating it? Our AI doesn’t just count mentions; it understands context, he said. It knows that a ‘cooked’ brand is in crisis, while a brand with ‘steeze’ is winning market share,’ he said. The company noted that by combining data analytics with strategic communications, the platforms are expected to help businesses, governments and institutions reduce transactional risks, strengthen accountability and support evidence-based engagement in cross-border commerce. CogniRep described itself as a corporate reputation and media transparency company focused on improving commercial relationships between the United States and Africa through data-driven intelligence, institutional transparency and verified media ecosystems.
