Free Healthcare Services! Taguig Offers Health & Wellness Summit for PWD Constituents

Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano highlighted the local government’s rollout of free basic healthcare services dedicated to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). “Hatid ng Lungsod ang Health & Wellness Summit in celebration of the National Disability Rights Week, ang health education, medical and dental consultations, preventive health screening, flu vaccines, libreng gamot and vitamins, laboratory exams, at iba pang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa ating PWDs (The City brings the Health & Wellness Summit in celebration of the National Disability Rights Week, providing health education, medical and dental consultations, preventive health screening, flu vaccines, free medicine and vitamins, laboratory exams, and other health services for our PWDs),” Cayetano shared in a Facebook post. The event offered a wide array of medical support to ensure local residents receive accessible treatment and health monitoring. Through these comprehensive services, the city aims to address the immediate and preventive medical needs of the PWD community. Cayetano acknowledged the key city departments behind the successful execution of the health initiative. She expressed gratitude to the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office, City Health Office, and City Nutrition Office for organizing the targeted activities. The local chief executive emphasized that such efforts align with Taguig’s broader mission of community welfare. She praised the offices for “pagsusulong ng inklusibong programa na idinesenyo para sa kapakinabangan ng ating mamayang Taguigeño (spearheading inclusive programs designed for the benefit of our Taguigeño citizens). ”
