St. Louis-basedGFI Digitalsaid Monday (Aug. 3) that it has acquired Lowell-basedTDS IT, a provider of copiers, printers and managed technology services with an additional location in North Little Rock. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to a news release, GFI Digital has been expanding across the Midwest, and the acquisition of TDS IT strengthens GFI Digital’s presence in Arkansas and expands its portfolio of office technology and managed services throughout the region. Tim Stanley founded TDS IT in 1996 and is a longtime Xerox partner. Its technology services have helped customers improve productivity, streamline operations and achieve business goals, the release shows. Stanley will remain with GFI Digital as part of the acquisition and will continue to serve customers across Arkansas while helping lead the company’s growth in the region. “We’ve been growing our business one customer at a time, building the kind of reputation that gets you noticed,” Stanley said. “Joining GFI Digital is our call-up to the big leagues. You don’t get there by changing the way you play — you get there because you’ve proven you belong. Now we’ve got a bigger roster, a deeper bench, and more ways to help our customers grow, all while staying true to the relationships that got us here in the first place. That’s a winning combination, and I’m excited for what comes next. ”Existing TDS IT customers will continue to work with the same staff while gaining access to GFI Digital’s portfolio of office technology, managed IT services, business phone systems and managed intelligence provider services. “Over the last year, I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about Tim and the business he has built, and it’s clear why TDS IT has earned such a strong reputation,” said Bruce Gibbs, founder and CEO of GFI Digital. “Tim’s passion for this industry and dedication to his customers is unmatched, and we’re honored that he chose GFI Digital for this next chapter. We look forward to building on the success he has created and welcoming the TDS IT team to the GFI Digital family. ”GFI Digital was founded in 1999 and provides office technology services such as copy/print, managed IT, business phone systems and managed intelligence provider services. The company is family-owned and operated. Related
