Kana and Hibiki wondered what their boss is planning. AfterMagilumiere pulled off a successful demonstration against all odds, they finally got approval for the Alice System. However, Magilumiere will need more workers to build it out to scale. Kana freezes up during an interview how to describe Magilumiere. With a successful demo, Shigemoto is finally considering hiring more magical girls and a new engineer to help build out the Alice system. Funny how they picked Kana to do the interview. As expected, she seems very nervous and had to give safe answers as she doesn’t know how to describe such a unique startup company like Magilumiere. Eventually, Kana realizes she should just give honest answers and let the chips fall. Kana meets the new recruits. Surprisingly, it’s Iroha and Akane. In the end, they somehow hired two magical girls, which are pretty obvious picks and tons of applicants. They arethe onesKana and Hitomi worked with previously with, Iroha and Akane. Iroha thought she wanted a career shift, but she is not sure about leaving her vice president position at RIMT. Iroha was thinking about joining Magilumiere, and her bus encourages her to take her new career move. Akane planned it all along. Besides holding hands during transformation, Iroha and Akane might make a good pairing. Of course, the owner encourages her to try it out so her skills won’t go to waste. Also, Akane planned her replacement before she left her former company. It’s funny how they have high expectations of Kana. Likewise, with Hitomi and Kana, it appears Iroha and Akane are pretty close, even linking arms after their first transformation. Sure, Iroha looks cooler with her lab coat outfit, but at least she kept the glasses. Shigemoto becoming overwelmed after reviewing all those job applications. Kana and her coworkers go on their first business trip. With that, Shigemoto collapses as he reveals a closet filled with stacks of job applications and resumes that they had received. It’s clear the job recruitment post was an immense success. Funny how he finally went through all the applications and only got one, and it took three months to go through that. The person they are looking for is in Kyoto, as Shigemoto has a lecture at the university there. That means a business trip and visiting a shrine where magical girls originated at a miko shrine. They seem really excited. They arrived at the university. Funny how Kaede and Shigemoto eventually became interested in two students figuring out a magic circle before they were told to stop. While Shigemoto talked to the staff as Akane, Hitomi, and Kana explored the university. The person Shigemoto plans to interview, Yamimori Hibiki, has a questionable reputation as he doesn’t seem to go to class, poking at the computer all the time, and his name is on the board wanting his reports. It makes you wonder what Shigemoto is thinking. Yes, this is a magical girl, Sakae and also a miko. Everyone becomes surprised by the person they plan to interview. Besides being a computer nerd, he also looks like a deliquent. Eventually, they went to the Tonomori Shrine, as they met a miko named Tonomori Sakae, a 28th-generation miko. She is also a magical girl, as she states there is maintenance being done on the shrine’s barrier. The funny thing is Sakae’s childhood friend is doing it, and it is Hibiki. They run into the person Shigemoto plans to interview, and it’s not what Kana is expecting at all. It makes me wonder how the interview will turn out, given the questionable reputation Hibiki has at the university for not handing in his assignments and attendance issues.
