Written by Midlothian View Editor, Phil BowenA growing Edinburgh private hire business has announced the expansion of its driving team, becoming a husband-and-wife operation as it enters its second year. CalAnd Private Hire, based in Bilston, Midlothian and serving Edinburgh and the Lothians, has welcomed Louise Anderson as a fully licensed Private Hire Driver. The appointment doubles the company’s driving team and represents another milestone for the family-run business, which launched just over a year ago with a single vehicle and one driver. The expansion enables CalAnd Private Hire to offer increased booking availability, greater flexibility for airport transfers, weddings, cruise terminal journeys and local transport throughout the region. The business has also introduced the option for customers to request a female driver for advance bookings, subject to availability.
