Nurix AI, an enterprise AI company building autonomous AI software and agents for complex business workflows, has acquired enterprise conversational AI company Verloop. io. The acquisition builds on NuPlay, Nurix's flagship voice AI platform for customer engagement, and adds Verloop. io's chat automation expertise and regional customer base. It aims to expand Nurix's conversational AI capabilities across voice and chat for businesses in India and the Middle East. With this acquisition, Nurix AI and Verloop. io are positioned to help enterprises deploy production grade AI agents across voice, chat, and emerging AI native channels, delivering measurable business outcomes at scale. Nurix, founded in 2024 by Mukesh Bansal, builds AI agents that help enterprises automate complex workflows and drive measurable business outcomes. Backed by General Catalyst, Accel, and Prosus, the company has focused on helping enterprises move beyond AI pilots to production deployments that improve efficiency, reliability, and operational performance. In September 2024, Nurix AI also secured$27. 5 millionin funding co-led by General Catalyst and Accel, with participation from Meraki Labs. Founded by Gaurav Singh in 2015, Verloop. io built its business around helping enterprises automate customer conversations across digital channels in banking, fintech, retail, and telecommunications. As part of Nurix AI, Verloop. io's team and operations will support the company's expansion across chat led customer engagement use cases. The acquisition expands Nurix's ability to support enterprises that need AI agents across both synchronous voice interactions and asynchronous chat led journeys. Following the transaction, Verloop. io will become part of Nurix AI. The companies are not disclosing further product integration plans at this time.
