KYIV, Ukraine –Russia launchedan intense barrage of ballistic missiles and drones overnight into Saturday, killing at least nine people and wounding 30 civilians in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, authorities said. The strikes follow a major Russian attack two days earlier that killed at least 10 people and wounded more than 50 others across Ukraine, as Moscow apparently looks to exploit Kyiv’scritical shortageof Western-supplied anti-ballistic missile defenses. The relentless cycle of attacks dims the potential of reaching a diplomatic end to Russia’s more than 4-year-oldinvasion of its neighbor. kAm#FDD:2’D 5676?D6 >:?:DECJ D2:5 $2EFC52J :E 925 =2F?4965 2 “>2DD:G6 DEC:A=6I 724:=:E:6D 2?5 =@8:DE:4D 46?E6CD 😕 zJ:G]”k^AmkAmp 7:G6\DE@CJ C6D:56?E:2= 3F:=5:?8 😕 E96 4:EJVD $@=@>:2?D2865 3J 72==:?8 563C:D 2?5 2 7:C6 3C@ E96 FAA6C 7=@@CD @7 E96 3F:=5:?8 2?5 EH@ A6@A=6 5:65[ H:E9 6:89E C6A@CE65 :?;FC65[ :?4=F5:?8 EH@ 49:=5C6?[ 244@C5:?8 E@ &6C86?4J D6CG:46]k^AmkAmx?
