A new daily schedule will begin on 28 June, promising steadier international links. Expect family friendly carriages and improved connection times. Ukraine and Moldova have agreed on a daily schedule for the Kyiv–Chișinău train, ensuring a stable cross-border connection. The confirmation appeared on Telegram from Oleksiy Kuleba, the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories. Starting June 28, the “Bessarabia” train on the Kyiv–Chișinău route will switch to a daily schedule. This is the result of long-standing joint work by the Ministry of Development, Ukrzaliznytsia, and Moldova’s CFM railway, which has made the route more convenient and predictable for passengers– Ministry of DevelopmentKey changes and new travel conditionsThe train will have coaches of different classes – platzkart and compartment. In the first service, among the new features, a children’s carriage will operate, specially equipped for comfortable travel for families with children. Tickets can be purchased through the Ukrzaliznytsia app, on the official website, and at railway ticket offices. The departure time from Chișinău has changed: from June 29 the train will depart at 19:52 instead of 17:42, which will improve options for transfers to other directions. Today the route to Chișinău remains an important international destination for Ukrainians, and convenient connection with Chișinău International Airport opens up opportunities to many European countries. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the timetable will be adjusted to seasonal passenger demand, and from June 28 an updated summer schedule will be introduced. The new daily Kyiv–Chișinău train will make cross-border connections more predictable and convenient for passengers.
