Members of the public are being given the opportunity to nominate their healthcare heroes as the local NHS Group launches its inaugural Moving to Excellence Awards. NHS Annual Moving to Excellence Awards logo 2026The Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Community and Hospitals NHS Group is inviting patients, families, and residents to put forward teams or individual staff members who have shown exceptional compassion, dedication, and care across local community services and hospitals. It marks the first time the newly formed NHS Group -the agreed alliance between Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust (ShropCom) and The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) – has come together to host a joint awards ceremony. - Advertisement -The Public Recognition AwardWhile several categories will celebrate internal achievements, the Public Recognition Award is chosen entirely by the local community. Following the initial nomination process, a shortlist will be put to a public vote so residents can select the final winner.
