Good Day, the popular bar and cafe at Wellington International Airport managed by EVT, has been awarded the Asia Pacific regional winner for Airport Bar or Pub of the Year, in the under 20M passengers category, at the 2026 Airport Food and Beverage (FAB) Hospitality Awards. The eatery was also recognised as the place to be, taking out the title of joint Asia Pacific winner for Airport Instagrammable Location of the Year. The Awards were hosted by Bangalore International Airport in India earlier this month and brought together airport operators, restaurateurs, brands and industry partners from around the world, with over 450 entries across the categories. 300-Seat RestaurantGood Day joined Wellington International Airport’s Terminal precinct last year and is operated by EVT, the hospitality group managing Rydges Wellington Airport Hotel, Peloton Bar & Eatery and Whiskey Lima Golf, which have been serving travellers since 2019. The space, featuring a ground floor and mezzanine level, offers a 300-seat restaurant in departures for casual dining, baked goods, café bites, savoury treats, deli selections and burgers.
